About the
Okemos Public Montessori at Central PTO

Who: The PTO (Parent Teacher Organization) is a dedicated group of volunteers – parents, teachers and staff – dedicated to promoting the well-being of our children.

What: The PTO raises money to sponsor many activities throughout the year: buses and scholarships for field trips, teacher stipends for supplies, Montessori materials and other teacher wish list items, playground equipment, technology supplies, library materials, extracurricular clubs, teacher enrichment activities, speakers, social events,
and so much more.

When: The PTO generally meets monthly (see below) and everyone is welcome. Please note attendance at meetings is NOT mandatory to be a part of the PTO or to participate in its activities.

Where: Meetings are held in the Central library at 6:30pm or 9:00am alternating monthy (except December and June)

Help: Come to monthly meetings (not mandatory); volunteer for one or more social and/or fundraising events. Forms are available if you did not already receive one. We welcome everyone!
